IMPRO NUTS is a contemporary art collective created by Juanjo Urbanski (music), Isra Páez (painter) and Sonia Pérez (actress/performer). 

We are united by our curiosity to explore new expressive places from our disciplines through the stimulation and learning of and with the other. From free improvisation, we seek the possibility of infinite play, challenging the limits of disciplines and creating a common and integrated language.

Our performances start from the empty space, the blank canvas and the body in calm. A nothingness that allows us to explore new discourses – from the individual to the collective – and that leads us to the creation of a scenic piece with sound space, characters and a visual work.

Our research is focus on colour, materials and technology. The body appears and deforms between light and shadow. A desiring body that draws from butoh, contemporary dance and words.
