PANALANDIA at CINETECA

( 2018 )

Screening of 11 short films finalists of the Panamanian poor film festival PANALANDIA at CINETECA MADRID.

The PANALANDIA film festival was born in Panama in 2014 as a tool for strengthening Panamanian filmmaking.

It is inspired by movements such as Jerzy Grotowski’s El Teatro Pobre and El Festival de Cine Pobre de Gibara – Cuba, seeking to make the story and the message prevail beyond the latest technology available, making the invisible visible because it brings to light memory tellers from all over the country and stories that represent everyone.
