REFISTULEROS o el mito de la rambulería istmeña mixes elements of theatre, dance, live music, sound and animation. 

The 6-act play is a tribute to the Panamanian cultural gesture. It takes up the idea that at different historical moments people from different cultures who did not speak the same language have participated in Panama, so the development of the gesture was necessary as a way of communication. 

“I have always heard that the Panamanian is recognised from afar. He doesn’t even have to speak because his gestures give him away. That’s where the name of the work comes from, could it be true that they recognise us from afar?” Nyra Soberón Torchia
